At SupplySide Global, Alkemist Labs will be talking to suppliers and brands seeking to confirm product quality with robust identity, purity, and potency testing. Staff will be available to discuss the Alkemist Assured program, designed for brands wishing to further demonstrate their quality commitment and assurance with the use of the Alkemist Assured seal on product marketing materials, website, and sales materials.
Most recently, Alkemist added heavy metal testing, residual solvents, and pesticide testing to its broadening suite of services, which each use the most sensitive equipment and test methods, the company reported. The scope of its methods covers both ingredients and finished products, and testing can be customized for clients, such as adding and validating methods for new pesticides.
Elan Sudberg, CEO of Alkemist, will participate in the panel discussion, “Unfiltered: Politics, policy, and profit in the future of supplements, foods, and beverages,” on the Innovation Stage (booth 5014) on Oct. 29 from 11:15 to noon. This session will examine drivers of the supplement, food, and beverage industries, including shifting sales trends, tariff impacts, and the growing influence of political figures like Robert F. Kennedy Jr.
Alkemist will be sponsoring the American Herbal Products Association (AHPA) reception on Oct. 29, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. in Islander Ballroom F, as well as What’s Up with Supps’ SupplySide Carnival Closer on Oct. 30 at Swingers.
Alkemist staff will also attend the Herbs & Botanicals community meetup on Oct. 30 at 12:30 p.m. in the SupplySide Networking Pub at booth 202, shoreline, level 2, and at Women in Nutraceuticals’ #WINTogether Gender Equity Networking Reception from 4:00 to 5:30 p.m. on Oct. 28.
Immediately prior to the reception, WIN will host its annual award ceremony, honoring those who champion gender equity, drive research innovations, and excel in mentorship in the nutraceutical sector. Petra Erlandson, VP of sales, is the chair of the WIN awards committee.
